Despite Arizona’s reputation as being unwelcoming to immigrants, it has become a popular destination for refugees. More than 3,100 refugees arrived in the state in 2015, according to the federal government’s Office of Refugee Resettlement. The map below shows the top ten countries where the refugees came from.
